Arsenal have booked their place in the 2026 UEFA Champions League final, where they will face either Bayern Munich or Paris Saint-Germain.Â
After drawing 1-1 with Atletico Madrid in the first leg in Spain last week, Bukayo Saka scored the decisive goal at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night to win 2-1 on aggregate.
The Gunners will contest the final for just the second time in their history and will be looking to win the competition for the first time ever. It’s been 20 years since Arsene Wenger’s side lost in their only final appearance to FC Barcelona in Paris.
Bayern and holders PSG meet in the other semi-final second leg on Wednesday at the Allianz Arena to determine Arsenal’s opponents. The Parisians hold a slender lead after coming out the right side of a nine-goal thriller in the home leg.
The breathless encounter ended 5-4 in favour of the hosts after both sides exchanged some excellent finishes, and a couple of penalties, at the Parc des Princes. The return fixture promises to deliver a similar level of excitement in Munich.
