West Ham United want to sign Chelsea striker Bertrand Traore according to reports today.
The striker, who spent last season on loan at Ajax, is apparently a £17 million target for the East London club, who are desperate to improve their attacking options.
West Ham have been looking at a striker today their squad for over 12 months having seen the likes of Michy Batshuayi, Carlos Bacca and several others reject a move to the London Stadium last summer.
West Ham eventually signed Simone Zaza from Juventus last summer, but after failing to score a single goal, the Italian was allowed to leave the club back in January, joining Valencia on loan.
However, the Daily Mirror claim that Slaven Bilic is a big admirer of Chelsea striker Bertrand Traore, who scored 14 goals in 43 appearances for Ajax last season, but failed to influence the result if the Europa League final against Manchester United last mont, a game in which they lost 2-0.
