West Ham United target Marco Arnautovic has handed in a transfer request at Stoke City.

The news was broken by Sky Sports on Monday afternoon who claim that the Austrian has grown increasingly frustrated at what he thinks is a lack of ambition by shown by the club.

Everton were linked with making a move for the now 28-year-old last summer, before he signed a new four year deal which runs until 2020, however the winger now wants to move away from the bet365 stadium.

West Ham are believed to have made a £15m offer for Arnautovic but once again, according to Sky Sports, that offer has been knocked by by the Potters, who are not looking to sell.

West Ham are believed to be preparing an improved follow-up offer in order to secure the deal while he has also been linked to AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain.

The Hammers have also been linked with former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, Andre Gray, Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott in recent weeks as they look strengthen their squad ahead of next season.
