Want-away West Ham United striker Diafra Sakho is once again being linked with a move away from the club as reports link him with a move to the Championship.

The striker was one of the main stories in last summer’s transfer deadline day as he jetted to France to force a move to Ligue 1 side Rennes, despite the Hammers not giving permission for him to leave. Ultimately, the deal did not go through, but the striker still harbours a desire to leave the London Stadium.

 

 

According to the Daily Mail, Championship high flyers Cardiff City are interested in signing the Senegal international in a bid to boost their promotion hopes.

The Bluebirds have made an impressive start to the season in England’s second tier, and currently sit comfortably in second place, four behind leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers and four ahead of third placed Bristol City.

Cardiff boss Neil Warnock wants to add more firepower to his ranks, but knows a move for the 27-year-old will not come cheap, with the Hammers likely to demand a fee of around £12m
