West Ham United winger Michail Antonio has signed a new deal at the club to keep him at the Olympic Stadium until 2020.
Antonio moved to the East London club last summer after completing a transfer from Nottingham Forest, and enjoyed a successful first season in the Premier League, establishing himself as a key member of Slaven Bilic’s side.
After signing his new deal, the 26-year old said:
I am delighted to have signed a new contract. I am happy that the manager and the chairman have showed their belief in me to give me a new deal.
I have always believed in my own ability and when I am given the opportunity I will take it and hopefully I have showed that.
I had to be patient when I first arrived, but once I got the chance I never looked back and hopefully I can now push on and do even better than what I did last season.
The Englishman scored his first goal for the club in December, and went to to score nine goals for the hammers.
