West Ham have rejected a £35 million bid from an unnamed Chinese club for attacker Marko Arnautovic.
The Austrian international joined the Hammers in a then club record £20 million deal from Stoke City in the summer of 2017 and has recovered from a difficult start to life at the London Stadium to become one of West Ham’s key players.
Arnautovic has thrived since being converted from a left winger into a central striker during David Moyes time in charge of West Ham last season.
The 29-year-old has scored seven goals and provided two assists so far this campaign and according to Sky Sports West Ham have let it be known that they won’t consider selling the talented attacker for the current fee on offer.
Arnautovic’s contract with West Ham runs until 2022, although he has been the subject of plenty of transfer speculation in recent times, with Premier League duo Manchester United and Chelsea also rumoured to be interested in his service.
