West Ham have now joined Premier League rivals Arsenal and Everton in the race for Sevilla’s highly sought after central midfielder Steven Nzonzi, according to report in The Sun.
Hammers boss David Moyes is eager to add more dynamism to his midfield, and sees the two time Europa League winner as the perfect player to do just that.
Nzonzi has of course been heavily linked with Arsenal for some time and pictures of him at Gatwick Airport yesterday led to speculation that a deal was close to being completed.
The 28-year-old is no stranger to the Premier League having played for both Blackburn and Stoke before moving to La Liga.
His former manager at Ewood Park was of course new Everton boss Sam Allardyce, and the former England boss is also said to be keen on signing the French international.
Nzonzi has admitted that he will almost certainly leave Sevilla in January, so we can expect to hear plenty of speculation regarding his future in the coming weeks.
