West Ham are close to completing a deal to land Brazilian winger Felipe Anderson from Lazio according to reports in Italy.
The Brazil midfielder, who has one cap for his country, joined Lazio from Santos for £6.75m in 2013, making 32 appearances for the Serie A club last season.
He has formerly been linked with a move to Manchester United in transfer windows gone by, and it seems as though he is finally set to get his move to the Premier League this summer.
According to Sky Italia, representatives from both West Ham and Lazio met in Rome on Wednesday to agree a fee in the region of £26m – plus 20 per cent of the fee from a future sale.
Anderson is keen to move to the Premier League and personal terms are close to being agreed on a deal worth a reported £80,000 a week.
The 25-year-old has made 177 appearances in his five seasons for Lazio, scoring 34 goals and providing 42 assists.
