West Ham finally picked up their first points of the season today after securing an excellent 3-1 away victory over Everton.
Summer signing from Borussia Dortmund Andriy Yarmolenko marked his first Premier League start with a clinically taken brace in the first-half, before Hammers talisman Marko Arnautovic sealed the victory for the East London outfit on the hour mark.
Speaking after the game striker Arnautovic hailed the hard work his teammates out in to secure such an important win.
“It was really important for us to come back and put a performance in after our first four results.” He told Sky Sports.
“We start from the goalkeeper and everyone did an unbelievable job today. The midfield was great and then it’s our job to score goals.
“[Andriy] Yarmolenko was screaming for the ball [before I provided the assist] and I’m happy for his goal. I hope it’s going to be a good week now.”
