West Brom handed massive defensive injury boost ahead of Hull clash

West Brom have been handed a big boost ahead of their game against Hull, with defensive duo Kieran Gibbs and Ahmed Hegazi available at the weekend.

Darren Moore confirmed that the defensive pair have been declared fit for the big clash against Hull, a pleasing piece of news for the Albion manager with West Brom fighting at the top of the table.

The Baggies were relegated from the Premier League last season, however this has not hampered them this term as the Midlands outfit sit fifth in the Championship.

A win against the Tigers could see the club rise as high as second place – provided results go their way – and Moore is pleased to have Gibbs and Hegazi available to play.

“Kieran and Ahmed are available,” Moore told his pre-match press conference.

“We’re pleased about that and we’ll assess Dwight and Gareth in training on Friday.

“There’s one more session before the game to monitor them but we won’t be taking any risks.

“We’ll make sure they’re ready.”

The Tigers, who host Moore’s men this Saturday at 3pm, have struggled for form this season and sit 23rd in the Championship.
