West Bromwich Albion could become the latest club to be taken over as part of a £150million deal by Chinese investors.

The Sunday People claim that club owner Jeremy Peace is to finally bring a two-year search for a new owner to end, by cashing in to the tune of £150million, with the wealthy Chinese investors ready to take over at the Hawthorns.

Upon completion of the takeover, Peace is set to leave his role as Owner, after guiding the club to becoming an established Premier League club following the last promotion to Englands top flight back in 2010.

It is believed that the potential buyer is Wang Jianlin, China’s richest man, who is keen to invest in the Premier League.

Everton and Swansea City have also been taken over in the last few months, with the latter also being invested in by wealth Chinese investors.

West Brom are keen on keeping the deal secret until it is confirmed.
