West Brom manager Darren Moore has heaped praise on former Baggies manager Tony Mowbray ahead of his sides clash against Blackburn tomorrow.
Mowbray has been Blackburn manager since 2017, and helped the club to promotion from League One. Rovers have done well since their return to the second tier and Moore has praised the Blackburn manager.
“Tony has done a superb job in giving the club stability back,” he told wba.co.uk.
Mowbray was manager at the Midlands outfit between 2006 and 2009, before taking the post at Celtic and Moore remembers the manager’s time at the club fondly.
“It will be great to see Tony tomorrow and welcome him back here. He did a top job when he was here and he’s somebody I regard very highly. He’s a top, top fella and an excellent coach.
“He’s doing a marvellous job at Blackburn and I look forward to seeing him tomorrow.”
The two sides face off at the Hawthorns at 3pm tomorrow.
