Tottenham moved back into the top four with a comfortable 2-0 win over Brighton at Wembley.
Speaking in his post match press conference, Mauricio Pochettino said he was very pleased with his side’s performance and effort, but admitted his side got lucky with the first goal.
He said that Brighton made it difficult for his side, but refused to complain despite another team setting up in a defensive formation.
The Argentine added that he is feeling positive ahead of Saturday’s trip to the Etihad to face runaway league leaders Manchester City, and is looking forward to trying to do what no other side in the Premier League has done so far, by beating Guardiola’s men.
