Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has again been speaking about the club’s decision to sell Philippe Coutinho ahead of tomorrows Premier League fixture against Manchester City.
The German manager reiterated that the club did everything they could to keep the Brazilian player at Anfield, but his desire to move to Spanish giants Barcelona was so strong that there was ultimately very little the club could do.
Klopp admitted he relishes clashes against Pep Guardiola sides and he expects tomorrows game to be an entertaining encounter.
Liverpool will go into the game knowing that a win will see them move above Chelsea into third place in the Premier League table. All they have to do to make that happen of course, is become the first team to beat Man City this season.
