Manchester United only need three points to cement second place in this season’s Premier League.
With Champions League football already secured for next season, United will look to end the campaign strongly with their FA Cup final against Chelsea on the horizon.
United will be without top goalscorer Romelu Lukaku due an ankle injury sustained during last weekend’s 2-1 win over Arsenal. The £75 million striker has made a solid start to life at Old Trafford scoring 16 goals in the Premier League this season.
Mourinho’s men travel to the Amex tonight to face a Brighton and Hove Albion side still battling to avoid the drop.
Chris Houghton’s side are just five points above the drop zone. However, victory over United should be enough to remain in the top flight.
Matteo Darmian, Daley Blind and Marouane Fellaini’s futures were also discussed by Mourinho.
