Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho confirmed that he is looking forward to the beautiful passion and colour of Sunday’s Manchester Derby.
The Portuguese coach stated that he believes both his team and Man City are vastly improved from last season.
Although Mourinho admitted that sometimes these big matches can be a bit of a anti-climax, he spoke of how football is unpredictable and as much as a coach can prepare for a game, you just never know how things are going to turn out.
On the injury front he confirmed that Phil Jones is available, but Micheal Carrick and Eric Bailly will miss out.
With United trailing their City rivals by eight points and also aiming to halt Guardiola’s sides attempt to win their record equalling 14th consecutive Premier League game, this game is poised beautifully.
Mourinho’s side will obviously miss the creative spark of Paul Pogba, but The Reds have a formidable home record and will be confident that they can beat City, or any team for that matter, on their home patch.
