Watch – Jose Mourinho post match interview

Manchester United beat Arsenal 3-1 at the Emirates in Saturday’s late game and as you might expect, Jose Mourinho was in good form afterwards.

United took the lead through Antonio Valencia and doubled their advantage shortly afterwards when Jesse Lingard picked up a wonderful layoff from Anthony Martial and finished smartly to Petr Cech’s right.

Their manager was full of praise for the pace and work his team put in, especially when they went down to ten men. Paul Pogba was sent off in the 74th minute for a challenge on Héctor Bellerín, and will now miss the all-important game against Manchester City next week.

Mourinho wouldn’t be drawn on the subject, and also refused to comment on the various penalty claims made by Arsenal. He was however, full of praise for his goal keeper David De Gea who pulled off a string of spectacular saves to keep United in front and in the hunt for the Premier League title.
