Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho spoke of his happiness with his teams effort and character, after their narrow 1-0 victory over Bournemouth at Old Trafford last night.
The Portuguese coach, admitted he had hoped his side would be able to score another goal to kill the game, but overall he was happy with his sides performance.
The 54-year-old also spoke of Bournemouth dominating the closing stages of the game due to the extra days rest they had over his side.
Mourinho, also praised the performances of youngster Scott Mc Tominay and Luke Shaw, who started his first Premier League game of the season last night.
It’s West Brom away for United next and they just have to keep winning games, and hope that Man City hit a run of poor form.
