Jose Mourinho discussed a wide range of issues following his side’s 2-1 win over West Brom at the Hawthorns.
United stormed to a 2-0 first half lead through a Romelu Lukaku header and a deflected Jesse Lingard striker, before former Man City midfielder Gareth Barry pulled a goal back to make an exciting ending.
Speaking in his post match press conference, Jose Mourinho credited West Brom’s performance and set piece ability, and described his game plan to stop the Baggies from creating too many opportunities from set pieces.
Romelu Lukaku didn’t celebrate his opening goal, with some pundits suggesting the striker was unhappy at criticisms over his recent performances. However, Mourinho had his own theories on the Belgian’s lack of celebration.
He also refused to concede his side’s title credentials, despite being a whopping 11 points behind Manchester rivals, City, saying his team will fight until the very end until the title is no longer possible.
