David Moyes has stressed that West Ham must continue the hard work that they displayed against Leicester as he prepares to take his new side back to the familiar territory of Goodison Park.
The recently appointed boss spoke about the need to ‘put in the hard miles’ as the young look to build on Friday’s 1-1 draw at the London Stadium.
Moyes also lauded the fans and the improved atmosphere at the during that game and will be hoping that the fans continue to show the team their support after several vocal protests in the recent game at Watford.
He also discussed his decision to drop club captain Mark Noble in the last game, and refused to give assurances that he would be restored to the starting lineup for the game against Everton.
He added that there would be no room for sentimentality against his former side, insisting that he is purely focused on West Ham and their own battle against relegation.
