WATCH: Arsene Wenger’s pre Manchester United Press Conference

Ahead of Sunday’s game against Manchester United, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger met with the press.

Arsene Wenger said he doesn’t know what type of reception he will get at Old Trafford.

He was hesitant to say that he and Jose Mourinho can be friends now, which drew a laugh from the media but says he respects him. Also, he doesn’t want another confrontation with the United manager as he wants to finish his Arsenal career peacefully.

He says he has no regrets turning down the Manchester United job as Arsenal are the love of his life.

Wenger was quiet on team news as he says he’ll see how everyone is in training after the Atletico result before making lineup decisions.

The Arsenal manager claimed that if they’d have stayed at Highbury instead of moving stadiums they made have contended for more championships in the short term. However, he felt the move to the Emirates was a good long term decision.

As he was leaving, he said Henrikh Mkhitaryan has a chance to be ready for the game against his old club Manchester United.
