Chelsea Manager Antonio Conte talked to the press today ahead of his sideโs last Premier League game of the season against Newcastle.
Conte gave news on Thibaut Courtois, saying he has trained so he will be in contention for the game against Newcastle.
With the odds being against Chelsea gaining a place in the top four this season a lot of the questions were about the Champions League.
The Italian coach was hesitant in saying what was more important the top four or winning the FA Cup. He claims they have to try and achieve both targets.
When somebody asked how damaging it was for a club like Chelsea to not be in the Champions League, Conte was quick to point out that prior to his arrival the club was 10th in the league and they werenโt in the FA Cup final. He also claimed it wasnโt his place to judge whether the club are in a better position now than before he was at the club.
