Antonio Conte was full of praise for his Chelsea side after their 5-0 thrashing of Stoke City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday in what was their last game of 2017.
Chelsea won the game thanks to goals from five different scorers, with Antonio Rudiger, Danny Drinkwater, Pedro, Willian and Davide Zappacosta all getting on the scoresheet.
The result saw Chelsea leapfrog Manchester United into second place in the Premier League, with the Italian describing his side’s performance as ‘very positive’.
He said his side has a ‘great desire to score’ and was pleased that his side were able to score early in the game.
He was also pleased that his side got another clean sheet and was pleased with the defensive solidity of the side, citing the fact that his team had conceded less goals than at this point last season.
