Chelsea will travel to St.Mary’s to face a struggling Southampton in tomorrow’s early Premier League fixture.
This game will of course have an added layer of intrigue as both team will face off again next weekend in their eagerly anticipated FA Cup semi-final.
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte was quick to shoot down any questions about the speculation surrounding his own future, and once again insisted that he is committed to the Blues.
He was also non-committal about rumours that Blues goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has opened negotiations with PSG about a summer move, and stated that this is a matter to be resolved between the player and the club.
Conte also discussed the future of summer signing Danny Drinkwater and revealed that centre-back Andreas Cristensen will be on the bench against Southampton after the youngster has struggled for form in recent games.
