Huddersfield boss, David Wagner, is clinging to the hope that his side can kick-start their season with a positive result against Liverpool, on Saturday evening.
Wagner’s side is in the relegation zone after eight Premier League games and already out of the League Cup. It won’t be easy for The Terriers against Liverpool and then they travel to Watford, next weekend.
The Huddersfield manager isn’t ready to give up hope on Premier League survival just yet, however.
“Every performance gives you belief,” he told his pre-match press conference.
“We’ve performed consistently over the last few weeks. Now the next part of the season starts with this amazing game in front of us. Every game is a new chance, a new opportunity and we have one at home on Saturday. We’d like to use it even if we know it’s against one of the top teams.”
Huddersfield need to improve and soon, although with the John Smith’s Stadium rocking on Saturday it might just be the perfect opportunity to push for them to their first league win of the season.
