United legend slams Pogba for ‘not serious,’ and ‘joke’ display

Despite Manchester United coming back from 2-0 down to win 3-2 against Crystal Palace last night, the Old Trafford club’s record signing Paul Pogba came in for some stinging criticism for yet another lacklustre display.

Former United pundit and Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville laid into the Red Devils 24-year-old midfielder for his laissez-faire attitude during his analysis of yesterday’s encounter at Selhurst Park.

“It’s like everything he does is like a YouTube or Instagram video. It’s like it’s not serious, it’s like a joke to him in terms of the way he goes about things.

“It’s no wonder Jose Mourinho has left him out for the past few weeks a number of times.”

Pogba again looked off the pace during most of last nights game, and many observers were shocked to see him spend the first couple of minutes of the game trying to put on his gloves rather than being fully concentrated on playing in an important Premier League fixture.

There is no doubt that the France international has the physical and technical attributes required to be a world class midfielder, however it is becoming increasingly difficult to blame anybody but himself if he continues to put in such irresponsible displays as he did last night.
