Tottenham weigh up potential Thomas Frank replacements

Tottenham Hotspur have drawn up a list of potential replacements for Thomas Frank as the head coach comes under pressure.

Frank was appointed at Spurs in the summer but his position is already under scrutiny after a poor start to the campaign.

The North Londoners are 11th in the Premier League table and have won just one of their last seven in the league. At the weekend, Spurs were comprehensively beaten 3-0 at Nottingham Forest.

Though no decision on Frank’s future is expected imminently, Spurs are already assessing potential successors should results not improve.

According to CaughtOffside, former manager Mauricio Pochettino is one coach under consideration.

However, luring the Argentine back to the Premier League appears difficult before next summer’s World Cup, where Pochettino will lead the United States, who co-host the tournament alongside Canada and Mexico.

Other names on the club’s radar include Fulham boss Marco Silva, who is out of contract at the end of the current campaign, and Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner.

The latter led Palace to a first-ever major trophy last season with FA Cup success, and previously won the Europa League with Eintracht Frankfurt in 2022.
