Tottenham have reached an agreement to sign PSG full back Serge Aurier according to reports in France.
L’equipe claim that PSG are listening to offers for the 24-year-old following the arrival of Dani Alves on a free transfer from Juventus.
The French club have set an asking fee around €20m to €25m and were reported to have agreed a deal with Manchester United, where he would be a back up to Antonio Valencia.
However, following the departure of Kyle Walker to Manchester City, if Aurier were to choose North London rather than Manchester, he could expect to be the first choice right back.
However, any potential move to the Premier League could be scuppered by the French courts. Aurier was given a two year suspended prison sentence last year for assaulting a police officer. This charge prevented him entering the UK for PSG’s Champions League game against Arsenal last season.
The Ivorian is appealing the decision, but with just 16 days remaining of the transfer window, he is running out of time on his preferred move to the Premier League.
AC Milan and Juventus are also believed to be interested, while Chelsea have also been linked.
