Tottenham have opened talks with Roma striker Antonio Sanabria ahead of a potential £11.5million deal as Mauricio Pochettino looks to bolster the clubs attacking options.

The Daily Mail claim that Spurs have been tracking the 20-year old strikers progress for a number of years since his days in the youth set up at Barcelona.

Sanabria, who was bought for just £3million, spent last season on loan back in Spain at Sporting Gijon where he scored 11 goals in 31 appearances for the La Liga club. However, Roma have decided not to keep hold of the Paraguay international and recently rejected an £11million offer from Rubin Kazan.

The club have also been linked with a move for Marseille’s Michy Batshuayi and AZ Alkmaar hitman Vincent Janssen.
