Tottenham Hotspur travel to the City Ground on Saturday still searching for their first points and first goal of the season.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side have lost both of their opening Premier League fixtures without scoring, a first in the club’s top-flight history.
De Zerbi has spoken at length about deadline-day loan signing Mykhaylo Mudryk, with whom he worked at Shakhtar Donetsk: “His challenge is to respect all of his qualities because he’s a great player,” the head coach said, while also addressing speculation over Richarlison’s future after leaving the forward out of his 25-man Premier League squad.

James Maddison trained with the squad on Thursday but will not be involved against Forest as he continues his recovery from a shoulder injury. There is no other fresh absence to report, with De Zerbi confirming Savio has recovered from the muscle problem that ruled him out against Newcastle: “Savio is back.”
Mykhaylo Mudryk is available for his Tottenham debut but only for a limited role, with De Zerbi saying he is ready to play “one part of the game… 15, 20, 30 minutes” rather than start. Mohammed Kudus, who returned from a long-term absence with a substitute appearance against Newcastle, may again be held back from the starting XI. New arrival Tosin Adarabioyo, who joined permanently from Chelsea on deadline day, is also in contention for a squad involvement.
