Tottenham Hotspur XI vs Chelsea – Predicted lineup and team news

Tottenham Hotspur travel to Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening looking to build on their first Premier League win of the season.

Tottenham Hotspur travel to Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening looking to build on their first Premier League win of the season.

Roberto De Zerbi’s side are 17th in the table with six points from seven matches, having beaten Coventry City 3-1 last time out after a 1-1 draw at Manchester United. They face a Chelsea side unbeaten in their last two league games and fourth in the table on 13 points.

Tottenham Hotspur team news

Tottenham will be without at least six players for the London derby. Rodrigo Bentancur is serving the second match of a three-game suspension, and Mykhaylo Mudryk remains both injured with an ankle problem and ineligible to face his parent club. Wilson Odobert, Xavi Simons and Lucas Bergvall are all out with knee injuries, and Savio is sidelined with a muscle issue. Destiny Udogie, Pedro Porro, Omar Marmoush, Andrew Robertson and Tosin Adarabioyo are further doubts, leaving De Zerbi with limited options across defence. Tosin Adarabioyo, who signed from Chelsea in the summer, is among that group of doubts, adding an extra layer of intrigue to his potential involvement against his former club.

Dejan Kulusevski is available for selection again after more than 500 days on the sidelines, offering De Zerbi a fresh attacking option. Conor Gallagher, who began his career at Chelsea, is pushing for a recall and could partner Sandro Tonali and James Maddison in central midfield, with Maddison having scored on his return from injury against Coventry. Dominic Solanke, another former Chelsea player, has scored just once in the league this season but is expected to continue leading the line.

Tottenham Hotspur predicted lineup

Tottenham Hotspur possible starting XI (4-2-3-1): Kinsky; Gray, Van Hecke, Van de Ven, Udogie; Gallagher, Tonali; Kudus, Maddison, Marmoush; Solanke
