Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly failed in a bid to sign Jarrod Bowen from London rivals West Ham.

Ange Postecoglou had targeted the England winger as an option as Spurs look to strengthen their forward line this summer, but the Evening Standard claim an approach was swiftly turned down by West Ham.

Bowen scored 20 goals and laid on 10 assists in 44 appearances for West Ham last season and the Irons have no interest in selling the 27-year-old.

Spurs continued to assess attacking options and have been heavily-linked with Feyenoord forward Santiago Gimenez, while there’s interest in signing Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace.

The latter has a release clause of £60m in his contract with the Eagles and developments could accelerate upon the conclusion of England’s Euro 2024 campaign.

Sebastian Szymanski is another player that Spurs are weighing up an approach for. The Poland international shone during his debut season at Fenerbahce last term, scoring 10 times and providing 11 assists in the Turkish Süper Lig.

Szymanski signed for the Turkish side from Dynamo Moscow for a fee of €9.75m last summer, following a successful loan spell at Feyenoord in 2022-23 that saw the winger win the Dutch title.
