Monaco winger Thomas Lemar has been the subject of varying degrees of interest from all of the Premier Leagues top six clubs over the last 12 months, and news has emerged recently suggesting that his club are prepared to let him leave this summer.
According to reports in Telefoot Monaco are set to cash in on the France international this summer with the bidding expected to start at around the £80 million mark.
Lemar rose to prominence during Monaco’s superb run to the Champions League semi-finals last season, and quickly became one of Europe’s most sought after young attacking talents.
The left footed 22-year-old is renowned for his devastating pace, skill and shooting ability.
He came close to joining Arsenal during the summer transfer window after Monaco accepted a £90 million pound bid, although the player decided against a move to The Emirates.
Lemar has made clear to his club that he has no intention of signing an extension to his contract that runs until 2020, and is said to be keen on a move to England.
It now seems that Premier League rivals Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs, Manchester United, and Liverpool are all set for a summer battle to secure the services of the highly rated attacker.
