Liverpool kept their hopes of landing a maiden Premier League title alive with a fortuitous last-minute winner against Spurs at Anfield on Sunday.
In fact, it wasn’t the first time Jurgen Klopp’s side have sealed a crucial last-minute win this season, with the Reds also benefiting from a massive slice of luck against Everton in the Merseyside Derby back in November.
However, if you asked most Premier League fans which club they would associate with winning games at the death, the majority would probably name Sir Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United sides that won a record 13 EPL crowns and were famed for scoring goals in ‘Fergie Time’.
It seems though that despite not getting their hands on the fabled top-flight trophy since the EPL’s inception in 1992, it is actually Liverpool who are by far and away the Kings of last gasp winners, with United trailing Arsenal in third place overall.

As the list above shows it seems to be the big clubs who specialise in late wins, with all of the top five clubs coming from the top six.
