Consistency is often the difference between a good player and a great one, with this list of Premier League players having delivered with regularity in recent seasons.
Ollie Watkins made it 10 goal involvements for the campaign last weekend, after scoring the second in Aston Villa’s 2-0 win over West Ham. The forward is one of just five Premier League players to have returned 10+ goals and assists in each of the last six seasons.
Mohamed Salah – Liverpool
An absolute production machine, Mohamed Salah has climbed to third for all-time goal involvements in the Premier League.
Only Alan Shearer and Wayne Rooney have ever been involved in more Premier League goals than the Egyptian, who has reached 10+ in all nine campaigns at Liverpool.
In 2024-25, he broke the record for most goal involvements in a 38-game campaign after notching up 47 during Liverpool’s title win.
Bruno Fernandes – Manchester United
Bruno Fernandes is another player who has made absurd numbers become the norm. The current campaign has been the best of the midfielder’s career at Manchester United in terms of goals created, with a league-leading 16 assists. No Manchester United player has ever provided more assists in a single Premier League campaign.
Jarrod Bowen – West Ham
Next time someone scoffs at signing talent from the Football League, point them in the direction of Jarrod Bowen.
The West Ham winger has reached 10+ goals and assists in each of the last six Premier League seasons, never failing to do so in a full campaign at The London Stadium. He’s broken the 20-goal barrier on three occasions.
Ollie Watkins – Aston Villa
Another example of good scouting, Aston Villa have reaped the rewards since signing Ollie Watkins from second-tier Brentford. He’s the club’s leading Premier League goalscorer (84) and ranks third for assists (35), behind Ashley Young and Gareth Barry.
Leandro Trossard – Arsenal
An anomaly on this list, having achieved the feat across spells at two different clubs. Trossard’s time at Brighton was productive with back-to-back seasons of 10+ goal involvements, before a £20m transfer to Arsenal in January 2023.
He hit the ground running with 10 assists in his first 10 league games and has remained a vital contributor, despite not always commanding a first-choice role.
