Football figures have been paying tribute to Terry Venables, after it was announced the former England and Tottenham manager has passed away, aged 80.
Venables led the Three Lions to the semi-final of the 1996 European Championship on home soil, a tournament the ex-England manager called ‘the summer of a lifetime’.
A number of leading figures within the sport have wrote messages of gratitude and respect towards Venables upon the news of his death.
