Erik ten Hag looks set to miss Manchester United’s fixture at Everton after the international break after being handed a third booking of the season against Luton.
Ten Hag was shown a yellow card by referee Graham Scott for questioning a throw-in decision during Manchester United’s 1-0 win over Luton at Old Trafford on Saturday, his third of the campaign after previous cautions during clashes with Arsenal and Tottenham.
The Dutchman is now set to serve a one-game suspension, which will see him missing from the touchline when the Red Devils travel to Everton on November 26.
Asked in his post-match press conference if he must now sit in the stands for United’s game at Everton in a fortnight, he said: “I think so.”
The Premier League have since confirmed the ban.
