A new study performed by CIES’ Football Observatory has revealed that five Premier League stars are valued amongst the top ten players in World Football.
Spurs striker Harry Kane is valued at £194 million and only PSG star Neymar and five time Balon d’Or winner Lionel Messi are worth more. The 24-year-old England international has been in sensational form and netted a whopping 56 goals in 2017 for club and country.
The Premier League has the highest proportion of players in the top ten, and other players to make the list are Kane’s Spurs’ team-mate Dele Alli, Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne and Manchester United pair Romelu Lukaku and Paul Pogba.
Premier League players also feature heavily in the top 30 most valuable players, and each of the top six has at least one member of their squad included.
Current Balon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo is only listed at 49th, because of his age 32, which reduces any potential sell on value.
