Manchester City’s man of the moment Raheem Sterling is stalling on a new deal a the Etihad according to reports.
The England international has been in sensational form this season, with his goals almost single handedly keeping the Blues at the top of the league. He has scored nine goals and provided two assists, helping the club maintain their unbeaten start to the season and their healthy eight point lead.
His form has prompted speculation that Manchester City chiefs are looking to tie the former Liverpool winger down to a new deal.
However, according to the Daily Mirror, Sterling ha spit off all potential contract talks until the summer.
His refusal to discuss new terms is claimed to be alerting European champions Real Madrid. The Spanish giants were interested in signing the winger two years ago but never made a move, allowing him to make his £50m from Merseyside to Manchester.
