Tottenham Hotspur ended Maurizio Sarri’s unbeaten start to life as Chelsea manager by comfortably beating their London rivals 3-1 at Wembley on Saturday.
However, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has praised his counterpart by claiming that everybody has been impressed with the job the Italian coach has done since taking over at Stamford Bridge this summer.
“Maurizio has impressed everyone so far,” Pochettino told the press ahead of his sides Champions League clash against Inter Milan at Wembley on Wednesday.
“Before facing us he was still unbeaten: 12 games without defeat, it does not happen often in the Premier League.
“He is adapting his philosophy to Chelsea and he needs time to develop everything he wants, but like for Empoli and Napoli, he will do an excellent job.”
