Southampton have appointed former RB Leipzig coach Ralph Hasenhuttl as their new manager on a two-and-a-half-year deal.
Former Austrian international Hasenhuttl guided newly promoted Leipzig to a second place finish in the 2016/2017 season, but the 51-year-old has been out of work since leaving the Bundesliga club last May.
Southampton sacked Mark Hughes after the Welsh man won just three Premier League games in 23 attempts during his eight month time in charge on the South Coast.
