Solskjaer provides Pogba and Martial injury update before Leicester clash

Manchester United caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given a fitness update on Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba ahead of his side’s trip to the King Power Stadium to face Leicester on Sunday.

Martial missed Manchester United’s 2-2 draw with Burnley in midweek because of a minor knock picked up in training, while Pogba seemed to be limping through the final minutes against the Clarets.

However, Solskjaer seems optimistic that the talented pair will be available to face Claude Puel’s Foxes this weekend.

“We’ve not had a proper session since the game – hopefully both of them can get through that,” the caretaker boss said.

“I don’t think there’s anything with Paul. Anthony has done some rehab work, so he’ll try a session today.

“I would imagine he would be available to be involved. He seemed happy yesterday.”

United currently sit two points behind fourth place Arsenal with 14 games of the season remaining, as the Old Trafford outfit battle to qualify for next seasons Champions League.
