Dominic Solanke has joined Tottenham Hotspur from Bournemouth for a club record transfer.
The 26-year-old striker leaves the Cherries in a deal worth a reported £65 million, £10m of which are add-ons in the deal.
Provided the Englishman is a success in north London, then he will be Spurs‘ most expensive ever signing, eclipsing the £63m record deal for Tanguy Ndombele in 2019.
Solanke arrives in Tottenham following his best season in the Premier League, scoring 19 goals for the south coast side to help the team finish 12th in the table.

Following the announcement, Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake comment on the former Chelsea and Liverpool player’s transfer in a club statement.
“After Dominic’s performances for us – in particular his impressive 2023/24 season – it has come as no surprise that a team of Tottenham’s calibre has shown an interest,” he said.
“This move has developed quickly but Dominic has remained professional throughout and I’d like to thank him for that. It’s a testament to the character he has always shown while at this club, on and off the pitch.”
Meanwhile, Bournemouth are set to complete a signing of their own after reportedly reaching an agreement with Barcelona for the transfer of Ronald Araujo.
The two clubs have ‘closed’ an £8.6m (€10m) deal for the Uruguayan defender, according to Spanish outlet SPORT.
The centre-back, who can also play as a right-back, was a regular for Barça last season, making 37 appearances in all competitions.
