Silva pleased with Everton’s front four

Marco Silva has said he is pleased with the progress being made by his Everton side and the output of his current front four.

The Everton manager has started to settle on a front three of Theo Walcott on the right, new signing Bernard on the left with £40 million man Richarlison playing through the middle, with Gylfi Sigurdsson playing in his favoured number 10 role.

This system has given the Toffees back-to-back wins over Fulham and Leicester, and going into this weekends Premier League game against Crystal Palace, Silva has said it is ‘important’ for him to see how his front four are beginning to work together, as well as reminding the Everton faithful that Ademola Lookman is a part of his plans:

“It is really important for me to see what they did [in the last match, a 2-1 win over Leicester],” Silva said.

“I think everybody is happy with this situation. It is important they enjoy what they are doing as well, I don’t want to just focus on these four. We have [Ademola] Lookman to add to the three strikers.

“The players did well and it is up to us to continue in this way and get better every time. We have to find solutions to score and win the match.”
