Billy Sharpe believes that Sheffield United are confident ahead of their clash against Leeds on the weekend.
The Blades forward insists that games against Leeds always have a good atmosphere and is hoping for more of the same this time around.
Wilder’s men have started their campaign in impressive form and sit in fifth after 19 games, but come up against an even equally impressive Leeds side this weekend.
However, the striker believes they can secure a positive result.
“It always seems to be a good game, it’s always a great atmosphere too, hopefully it is again on Saturday.’’ Sharpe told sufc.co.uk.
“We’ve got a job to do, it’s another early kick-off, but we’re in confident mood on the back of a good week’s training.”
“Three goals, six points, I’d take that again this season. It was one of our better performance at Leeds last season and at home we won again.
“Leeds always have the backing of their fans, both home and away, they are on a good run, they’ve got a lot of talented players, but there is no reason why we can’t beat them.
“They started well last season, but they seem stronger and more organised this time around, the manager doesn’t speak much English, but he’s got them winning games.”
Sharpe will be hoping he can be a decisivie factor as he hopes to lead the Blades to all three points at Bramall Lane on Saturday.
