Liverpool attacker Xherdan Shaqiri has revealed that he enjoys playing under Jurgen Klopp more than he did working with Man City boss Pep Guardiola during the pairs time together at Bayern Munich.
Shaqiri has been in impressive form at both club and country so far this campaign and the £13.5 million Liverpool paid Stoke last summer is starting to look like one of the bargains of the season.
The 27-year-old Switzerland international has revealed that he is massively impressed by Klopp’s coaching ability and he believes that Liverpool has what it takes to win major silverware this season.
“I understand myself excellently with him. I like people who are so open. And that we can talk in German, of course, is great,” Shaqiri told Blick when asked why he prefers Klopp over Guardiola.
“Klopp impresses me so much that I will say: I want to win the title for this man. And if we continue like this in the moment, then everything is possible.
