Viktor Tsygankov is attracting interest from ‘several Premier League clubs’ ahead of the summer transfer window.
Tsygankov has been a big hit since signing for Girona from Dynamo Kyiv in January 2023 with the winger having had a crucial role in the Catalan club’s Champions League qualification.
The 26-year-old has scored six times and provided six assists in La Liga this season, as Girona have secured an unexpected third-place finish and Champions League football for the first time.
He has impressed alongside compatriot Artem Dovbyk, who has scored 21 goals in La Liga this season, and the duo will form part of Ukraine’s challenge at the European Championship this summer.
Fabrizio Romano has revealed that several Premier League clubs are taking an interest in Tsygankov, who will make a decision on his future after Euro 2024.
Girona signed the winger from Dynamo for a fee of just €5m (£4.2m) though the Ukrainian outfit inserted a 50% sell-on clause into the deal. Tsygankov, who features predominantly from the right, has scored 12 times in 52 caps for Ukraine.
He could become the second big-name exit from Girona this summer with Savio, on-loan at Girona from fellow City Football Group-owned Troyes, set to sign for Manchester City.
