Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli’s search for a new club could be coming to a conclusion, after a Serie A club is thought to be in advanced talks with the strikers agent.

Italian club Chievo are the latest club to be linked with making a move for the striker, who moved to Anfield in 2014 in a £16million move.

The striker has been told by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp that he is not part of his plans and to find a new club, something that his agent Mino Raiola has been trying to do on his clients behalf.

Besiktas, Sampdoria, Inter Milan and newly promoted club FC Crotone have all shown an interest in signing the former Italy international, but it is Chievo who are believed to in the most advanced talks with the striker.

Chievo president Luca Campedelli is believed to have held talks with Raiola about taking the 25-year old back to Italy.
