Chelsea maintained their 100% start to the Premier League season by brushing aside newly promoted Cardiff City 4-1 at Stamford Bridge earlier today.
The Blues mercurial playmaker Eden Hazard was at his brilliant best again against the Bluebirds netting a hat-trick and speaking after the match Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri admitted that the Belgium international is even better than he thought before taking over at Stamford Bridge.
“When I arrived I thought that Hazard was one of the best players in Europe. Now I have changed my mind: maybe he is the best. But I also think he can still improve more.” Sarri told BBC’s MOTD.
Chelsea now sit joint top of the table with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool who ran out 2-1 winners over Spurs at Wembley in today’s early kick off.
