Bundesliga club Schalke have confirmed this morning that winger Leroy Sane is in Manchester finalising a move to Manchester City.

The young German has travelled to England to complete a medical and finalise the personal terms of the move.

It is thought that Man City will pay an initial fee of £31million + add-ons that could see the fee top £45million.

Schalke confirmed Sane’s absence from their pre-season trip to Austria via their twitter account.
